When you reserve a room, you’ll immediately hear from us confirming the date and rate and starting a conversation about your upcoming visit. We’ll help you arrange transportation. Before you get here, we’ll put fresh flowers in your room and turn on the AC. When you arrive, we’ll meet you at the gate, show you to your room, and - if you have time - share a welcome drink with you on the veranda overlooking our five acres of tropical rain forest. We’ll be interested in your goals for the trip and can offer advice on how to get around, where to eat, and things to see. We’ll introduce you to other guests and will often sit with you chatting on the veranda, go for a meal together, or attend community events or church services with you (if you like). The GM is a life-long naturalist so if you’re into nature, he’ll be glad to talk with you about the local geology, flora, and fauna. We can even arrange for you to meet some local people if you’re interested. After you leave, we hope you’ll stay in touch.
